As a provider of an essential service to the community, SP AusNet is heavily regulated by the Government in the type of work we undertake, what level of service we offer our customers and how much we charge the customer for our service.

Because no other business supplies gas and electricity infrastructure in our geographic areas, prices are set by a regulator to balance the interests of the business and customers.
