Report a Fault

SP AusNet customers can assist us by reporting any faults that they observe in our gas or electricity networks. For your safety, please stay clear of fallen or damaged powerlines and infrastructure, and suspected faulty gas pipes, and keep out of electricity easements.

Customers > Customer Preparedness

Severe weather, storms, lightning, floods and bushfires can all have an impact on our network and have the potential to interrupt your electricity or gas supply. SP AusNet works hard to minimise this impact by preparing the network for extreme weather as best we can and by continually investing to improve and maintain our network.

In the time of extreme weather events such as storms, we aim to minimise the potential for supply outages, respond safely and quickly when outages occur and keep customers well informed. While SP AusNet has an intensive maintenance program and detailed restoration plan during times of extreme weather, it’s also important that customers are prepared for potential storms or adverse weather conditions.
